Another race in Belgium, this time the Brabantse Pijl. The following riders will start on behalf of CCC-Liv on Wednesday: Evy Kuijpers, Marta Jaskulska, Pauliena Rooijakkers, Jeanne Korevaar, Valerie Demey and Marianne Vos.

“The Brabantse Pijl is different from other years. We previously raced in and around Gooik. This time the race will take place around Overijse, making it the same course as the men elite”, says sports director Jeroen Blijlevens.

“It will be a difficult race for us to make a prediction as we start with riders who have relatively little race rhythm. Valerie Demey, Evy Kuijpers, Marta Lach and Marta Jaskulska have raced in various national competitions, but have not raced with CCC-Liv for a while. They are undoubtedly eager and would like to show themselves.”

“We will enter this race wide-open and take various scenarios into account. The course has the necessary differences in altitude which should be up Pauliena Rooijakkers’ and Marianne Vos’ alley. Both will have to be continuously attentive and be at the front at the decisive moments.”
