WaowDeals Pro Cycling starts on Wednesday in the North of the Netherlands the Healthy Ageing Tour, a stage race which lasts until Sunday. Sports director Jeroen Blijlevens brings the following riders to the start: Pauliena Rooijakkers, Rotem Gafinovitz, Anouska Koster, Riejanne Markus, Monique van de Ree and Jeanne Korevaar.
The Healthy Ageing Tour opens with an 8-kilometre prologue in the streets of Friesian Heerenveen. In the following days, the programme foresees 4 consecutive stages and a team time trial. The stage race ends on Sunday in Groningen.
Team time trial
“We are having a busy few weeks, but our riders like to participate in this race”, says sports director Jeroen Blijlevens. “At the beginning of the season, the riders indicated they want to focus more on the team time trial. The Healthy Ageing Tour is one of the few races with a team time trial.”
