The WaowDeals Pro Cycling riders will exceptionally race in a special jersey. At the front, the main sponsor WaowDeals’s slogan has been adjusted: ‘Pay less. Pay mobile. Be pink’ (instead of ‘green’). The jersey has pink accentuations and the famous pink ribbon: the international sign symbolising the commitment against breast cancer. In this way, the riders enforce the ambassadorship of the Belgian breast cancer campaign Think-Pink.
WaowDeals Pro Cycling strives in the near future to set up the largest cycling club in Belgium with Think-Pink. Both would like to motivate as many women as possible to bike together for Think-Pink and the battle against breast cancer. “Exercise is vital to prevent breast cancer, and important for the recovery during and after breast cancer treatment. We like to help to – literally – ride the problems out of the world”, says general manager Eric van den Boom.
Special jerseys
In the past weekend, Jeanne Korevaar, Riejanne Markus and Marianne Vos already attended a Think-Pink event in the Centrum Ronde van Vlaanderen, where they presented a special cycling jersey for Think-Pink. The jersey has been created by the La Vos designers, Marianne Vos’ own clothing line. The jersey can be ordered worldwide via La Vos’ webshop. All profits go to Think-Pink. Pre-orders can be done until Sunday 15 April, after which a first batch will be produced.
