Waowdeals Pro Cycling started 2018 in the GP Sven Nys on New Year’s day. Unfortunately, Marianne Vos had a tough day, only finishing in 15th place. “I completed the race thanks to the support of the spectators, but it is difficult to enjoy it like this”, she says.

The wet soil on and around the Balerberg made the GP Sven Nys a very demanding race. “I was the first in the field, but did not have the power to compete soon after. The challenging circumstances did not help but they are not an excuse. I just didn’t have the legs today.”
