Carefree day in Boels Rental Ladies Tour

WM3 Pro Cycling is ready for the two challenging closing stages of the Boels Rental Ladies Tour. Our riders crossed the finish line in the bulk of the peloton in stage 3 to Weert, which ended in a mass sprint. Lisa Brennauer was the fastest. Anouska Koster finished as 15th.

“Another day has passed”, says DS Jeroen Blijlevens following the 3rd stage. He had instructed his riders to keep it low-key. “This is not a mandate you like as a cyclist, but it doesn’t help to start the climbs in Limburg with heavy legs.”

As predicted, there was little honour for his team attached to today’s stage. “There was hardly any wind and it was difficult to undertake any attempt as the pace was constantly high. Some teams controlled the stage and once in the final, the teams with sprinters started to get involved.”

To show initiative
In the last 2 stages of the WorldTour-race on Saturday and Sunday, Jeroen Blijlevens expects an attractive development. “If it is up to us, we will not hold back. We want to take the initiative ourselves by trying to get away with a small group. We hope that Kasia, who is very strong, will end with a high ranking and will take a stage.”
