WM3 Pro Cycling reinforces the team for the next cycling season with Sabrina Stultiens. The 24-year-old rider from Limburg is the first new addition for the team in 2018. In the past, she was already part of the team and, hence, will be reunited with DS Jeroen Blijlevens and rider Marianne Vos, amongst others.
Sabrina Stultiens has proven this season to be back at her level following a knee injury which kept her on side for quite some time. “After recovering from my injury, I have been improving with the support from my current team and I feel that I could progress even further. I’m looking forward to discovering and possibly pushing my boundaries with my new employer”, says Sabrina Stultiens.
The rider from Limburg will have, on occasion, a free role in the coming year with hopefully some successful results. “The winter will be crucial for me as I would like to form a good basis for the coming season in order to immediately perform when I have to. More particularly, I’m looking forward to the shorter stage races, such as the Emakumeen Bira which will be again on the WorldTour calendar in 2018”, says Sabrina Stultiens.
Passionate, strong rider
Team manager Eric van den Boom is delighted with Sabrina Stultiens’ return. “In our team, it’s all about fortitude: courage and persistence. Sabrina has shown that she does not give up during adversity. From the past, we know her as a passionate, strong rider, fitting perfectly in our team. The fact that she is also active in cyclo-cross, adds to her advantage, although the focus for Sabrina will be on the road.”
