Busy cross months for Inge

Inge van der Heijden, World Champion cyclo-cross U23, faces a number of busy cross-months. After the CCC-Liv training camp in Spain, she has planned at least one cyclo-cross a week, also after the World Championship.

Inge: “The start was with ups and downs. Even though I worked hard the entire time, it didn't work out the way I wanted it to. The hard work is slowly being rewarded. Since the World Cup Cross in Koksijde (fourth, 21 seconds from the winner, red.) I finally have that good feeling again. Hopefully I can continue this upward trend. I hope to be able to measure myself well with the top in the World Cups as well as the other races. And obviously, I have ambitions for a great ranking at the championships.”
